Overview

Brad focuses his practice in the areas of construction and government procurement and has significant experience in developing delivery systems for construction projects and sophisticated procurements. He has experience with a broad range of projects and structure types including industrial and processing facilities, water treatment plants, medical facilities, sports venues, multifamily developments, hotels and casinos, commercial buildings and public infrastructures.
 
Brad holds a degree in construction management from the University of Cincinnati, and after receiving his law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, practiced with Harrison, Kemp & Jones, LLP in Las Vegas for six years as a litigator representing clients involved in construction related disputes. Prior to attending law school, Brad was a project manager for a design-build firm serving the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. His background in the construction industry, along with his early experience litigating a variety of issues common to construction related disputes, provides Brad with a unique and valuable perspective for assisting owners and other members of the project team during the early stages of project development.

  • Structure and prepare bid and contract documents on behalf of city for procurement of filtration equipment and construction of water treatment plant subject to both state and federal bidding and procurement laws
  • Develop form documents for designing, bidding and procuring public work projects and a broad range of services on behalf of local and state governments
  • Successfully defended international structural engineer in multi-million dollar litigation
