Overview
Chris is a member of the Litigation Department where he advises and represents clients in matters involving general business litigation as well as bankruptcy matters and creditors’ rights.
Prior to joining BGD, Chris served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Basil H. Lorch III of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana and as a judicial clerk fellow to the Hon. Jeffery P. Hopkins of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He also served as an honors program legal intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Atlanta and as legal intern at the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in Nashville.
Chris received a B.S. in business administration from the University of Richmond and worked as an analyst in the fields of corporate finance and financial information technology before earning his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2014.
