Overview

Jessica is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, where she brings experience in tort issues and contracts. Prior to joining BGD as an associate, Jessica was a Summer Associate in 2016.

Jessica graduated magna cum laude with her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2017, graduating in the Top 2% of her class. She graduated summa cum laude from Kenyon College in 2014 with a degree in Political Science.

While in law school, Jessica externed for the Marion County Superior Court and the Indiana Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. She served as the Notes and Comments Editor at the Indiana Law Journal and as an associate with the Inmate Legal Assistance Project. Jessie worked as a research assistant to Professor Janet Decker on teachers' substantive rights and the Individuals with Disabilities Act. She also worked as a research assistant on capital gains tax with Professor Ajay Mehrotra.
