Lauren is an attorney in the firm's Lexington office and a member of the Litigation Department. She has experience in a wide array of sophisticated litigation matters, including: complex contract disputes; commercial and residential real estate litigation; environmental litigation; trust and estate litigation; appellate proceedings; quasi-governmental proceedings; and class-action defense.

Lauren has held leadership roles in both the Fayette County Bar Association’s Women Lawyers division and the Junior League of Lexington. Lauren has been recognized for her community involvement and growing professional success by both the Lexington Young Professionals Association and the Super Lawyers organization.

Career Highlights

Representative Cases and Achievements

  • Obtained a favorable jury verdict in a commercial property damage action following a five-week trial in western Kentucky
  • Obtained a favorable multi-million dollar arbitration award on behalf of an equipment distributor in a dispute involving both contractual disputes and statutory interpretation
  • Prevailed before the trial court, Kentucky Court of Appeals and Kentucky Supreme Court in a dispute involving the rightful beneficiary of a decedent's individual retirement account, including all briefing and oral arguments (Haste v. Vanguard Group, Inc., 502 S.W.3d 611 (Ky. App. 2016))
  • Experience in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings
  • Represents quasi-governmental agencies in administrative hearings and other related proceedings
  • Represents numerous commercial and residential landlords through the eviction process and the recovery of amounts owed
