Meaghan describes herself as an “unapologetic advocate” who will be upfront and honest with clients and thoroughly prepared on the law and facts of her cases.  She focuses her practice on corporate governance disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, covenant not to compete litigation, and transportation and product liability defense.  She also has experience handling criminal defense and attorney discipline matters.

While in law school at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, she mediated cases through the Viola J. Taliaferro Family and Children Mediation Clinic. She was also Managing Editor for the Indiana Law Journal, president of the Christian Legal Society, a volunteer advocate for the Protective Order Project, a member of Phi Alpha Delta and a member of the Women's Law Caucus. Meaghan also spent two years as a law clerk for the Monroe County Prosecutor's Office.

  • Frederick C. Treadway adv. SSI Services, LLC, et al. (Marion Superior Court), two-week trial resulting in $1.6 million jury verdict in favor of client on breach of fiduciary duty claim in dispute among closely-held entity owners as well as $3.4 million of value to client for ownership interest.
  • Samuel D. Pitman et al. v. SDP Manufacturing, Inc. et al., 96 N.E.3d 667 (Ind. Ct. App.), trans. denied, defense of claims in closely-held corporation regarding breach of fiduciary duty, constructive fraud, and accounting
  • Raab v. Kent W. Abernathy and the Indiana BMV, 49D11-1310-PL-038001 (Marion Superior Court 11), defense of Indiana BMV in class action seeking damages for alleged overcharge of fees paid by Indiana motorists
  • Burg v. Steelman Transportation, Inc., et al., 20D01-1203-CT-00043 (Elkhart Superior Court 1), defense of Landstar in wrongful death claim related to transportation of wind tower components
  • AEP Generating Company v. Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities et al. (S.D. Ind. 2015), represent municipal utility in contract and rate dispute litigation concerning the consumption of power by a natural gas peaking power plant inside an exclusive electric service territory
  • HCO, Inc. v. First Samuel Missionary Baptist Church, following an arbitration through the American Arbitration Association, obtained and collected judgment for architect on claims regarding amounts due to architect pursuant to modified contract, agreements to various phases of construction, and changes in scope of construction project
  • Boehringer v. Weber, 2. N.E.3d 807 (Ind. Ct. App. 2014), trans. denied, 2014 Ind. LEXIS 726 (Sept. 18, 2014), Representing appellees in appeal of defense jury verdict
  • William E. Boehringer, et al. v. Gregory J. Weber, et al., Cause No. 29D03-0904-PL-1519, Week-long jury trial; Defense of fraud claims related to the sale of home in which buyers allegedly discovered construction defects and mold
